In August 2001 Boomers Scrub was surveyed as part of a program being developed by the Department for Environment and Heritage to monitor the biodiversity and condition of Heritage Agreements.

The survey covered plant diversity, vegetation associations and their condition, threats to the vegetation, and in-depth analyses of three sites. The survey found Boomers Scrub to be good condition with a very high degree of ecological integrity and to be of high conservation value.

A copy of the survey report may be obtained as hard copy and/or pdf file (7Mb) by contacting the company secretary. There may be a small charge to cover printing, CD, packaging and postage.
